Councillor Joan Burrows is continuing to fight the introduction of new car parking charges across the Borough, in particular at Ryefield Avenue Car Park in her own Middleforth Ward, most recently raising questions at a full council meeting on the 25th of March.
Joan said "Thank you to everyone who signed my petitions, 2677 signatories, and has supported my mission so far, the next step in this fight is a Scrutiny meeting on Thursday the 9th of April at the Civic Centre in Leyland. The public are welcome and encouraged to come along and have their say. "
